PHOTOELECTRIC SENSORS

Telemecanique Sensors’ XU range offers photoelectric proximity sensors for industries like material handling, packaging, labeling, assembly, lifts, escalators, and food & beverage. It features Diffuse mode, Background Suppression (BGS), polarized reflex, laser reflex, and through-beam in four popular formats. Divided into general purpose, lasers, forks and frames, and specific applications, the XU range uses LED transmitters and photo-transistor receivers. Detection occurs when an object disrupts the light beam, available as infrared, ultraviolet, visible red or green, or laser red. LEDs ensure fast response with modulated pulsed light to resist ambient light. Various models are designed for specific uses.

THE WORLDWIDE LIMIT SWITCH STANDARD FOR INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) systems use frequencies ranging from 50 kHz to 2.5 GHz, with 13.56 MHz being the most common. RFID enables traceability, object identification, and access control. Information is stored in an electronic tag with an antenna and integrated circuit. When a tag enters the field generated by a reader or smart antenna, it detects the signal and exchanges data between its memory and the reader.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is the extension of the Internet to connected devices. Telemecanique Sensors offers a wireless solution to collect data from remote equipment and use this data, via the Internet, on a PC or mobile device.

The XIOT Cloud Connected Sensor from Telemecanique Sensors is based on LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network) technology, operated by Sigfox. It uses antennas with a range of around 50 km.

When a switch (limit or pressure) changes state at your site, an autonomous transmitter sends an alert via the LPWAN IoT network to our secure servers, which is then delivered as notifications to recipients on their PC, tablet, or smartphone.
